Last of a Kind

Part One
The icy banks of the artic lands; peaceful, serene, and above all quiet. The only sound anyone ever heard was the silent, cold wind and sometimes even a few icebergs breaking in the distance. There was no cars, people, or anything a person would find in a city, town or anywhere, so it was the ideal place to train.
Piccolo, the Namek of planet Earth, usually spent his time here meditating as he always did. Everything was the same everyday, until one cloudy afternoon, he heard footsteps. No one ever came here, and it couldn’t have been one of the others because the level of power was too low, so who could it be? He paid no mind to it at first, the footsteps coming closer, and finally stopped.
Someone spoke behind him and he came to attention. “A Namek, aye? Hmm.” He heard a clicking sound, which he or any of the others could’ve recognized, and he stood and turned from where he was sitting.
“Power level of 200 million. I’m impressed.”
He saw the scouter on the person’s face and realized that the person must’ve been one of King Cold’s men. They wore a knee-long cloak colored a dark blue, their face concealed somewhat. It looked to be a humanoid, or something like that.
“And who are you? One of King Cold’s men?”
The person laughed. “Please, those bumbling fools? I’d laugh at myself if I was.”
“Then who are you?”
“Tell me, are you the strongest fighter in this world?”
“Who wants to know?”
“Are you or are you not the strongest fighter in this world?”
“Sorry to disappoint you but I’m not,” He grinned. “Why, are you planning to take over this planet, rule the universe or something completely original like that?”
“Not at all. They just know something that I want to know, simple.”
His face turned to question. “Like what?”
“Why so many questions, Namek?” the person sighed. “Well for you’re information I’m looking for someone that crossed though here a few months ago. Anyway, I must be going. Good day to you.” The person backed up a few steps, and disappeared, Piccolo unable to trace their power level anymore.

At Capsule Corp., everything was the same as always. Vegeta spent his time training still, and everyone decided that since it was such a lovely day that they’d just have a small barbeque outside. When lunch was almost ready, however, a shadowy figure suddenly appeared unnoticed in the shade on the other side of one of the buildings.
“So what’s for lunch?” Trunks, (formally known as Big T), asked, sitting at the picnic table just outside the house door.
“Steak,” Bulma replied from where she was working in the kitchen.
“It doesn’t have any of that seasoning stuff on it, does it?” Bra asked.
“No, it doesn’t this time.”
“Yes, all right!” Trunks said under his breath, for he definitely didn’t like that kind of food.
The shadowy figure stepped slowly towards them under the burning heat of the sun. They noticed the figure and turned, remaining quiet with question.
“Uh, can we help you or somethin’?” Trunks questioned.
“The strongest fighter...” the person said, panting for breath. It may have been cool for anyone else but since the person was wearing a heavy cloak and such a dark color, they were sweating. “The strongest fighter, ah I’ve had it!” They quickly pulled the cloak off and threw it to the ground. “I don’t know why I even wear that thing anyway!” The person was a woman, with light brown hair and wore a light and dark blue, midriff armor top, black jeans and brown boots.
They looked at her questionably as she spoke, not understanding what was going on.
She put the hair falling in front of her face behind her ear with the rest of the bobbed hair style, coughed slightly, and continued. “Okay. I’m looking for the strongest fighter on this planet. The device around my ear says that this is the place where they are. Now tell me, do any of you know who that is?” None of them replied, and the woman grinned in an annoyed way. “That’s what I get for coming to the planet of primitive life forms.”
“Hey! We are not primitive! At least we know not to wear a dark cloak in 90 degree weather!” Bra stated.
“I guess I must find them myself,” the woman said, ignoring what Bra had just said and clicked the scouter on. This was no ordinary scouter, either, it was some sort of modified one, where it could read the max power level that the person was hiding, and not just the one that appeared for a normal reading. It traced around at the different people close by, and finally it traced Vegeta’s level, the highest there.
She stepped over to the space pod for which he was in training at higher gravity. The pod needed to be open by a few numbers on a control panel next to the door, but she didn’t know this and really didn’t need to. She held out her hand and a blast shot at the pod, making an opening in the side. She walked forward and stepped into it, where Vegeta stood angrily.
“So, are you the strongest fighter in this world?”
“What?! What are you babbling about?”
She shook her head and jumped out again, walking away. She stopped, however, when Vegeta shouted after her.
“And exactly who do you think you are?!” Vegeta shouted angrily.
Turing, she had a smirk across her face. “I’m looking for the strongest fighter in this world. Are you them? If you’re not I do not have time for this and I must be going.”
“What if I am?”
“Are you? Wait...” she clicked the scouter again and this time it read of what species Vegeta was. “You’re a Sayajin? Why am I not surprised. You good for nothings always have such an ego to live.”
“What?! How dare you say that you little snot!” His anger calmed to a sudden laugh. “What am I saying, you’re probably just a scavenger, part of King Cold’s army.”
She frowned. “Am I?” There was a bit of a pause, and the woman transported in front of him, slamming a fist into his face. He fell back a few feet, and she continued, “Do you think a scavenger could do that? Believe me, I am no scavenger or part of King Cold’s army, and I myself are part Sayajin.”
They all looked at her with a confused and shocked look, and the scouter on her face beeped.
“Apparently you are not the strongest, and I shall be leaving.” She walked back and picked up the cloak on the ground, then fading and finally was gone, her power level completely unable to be sensed.

Standing in the dense forest, Goku stood, searching for a right tree for fire wood. They were all skyscraper size, but even though they all seemed the same, and it was all just trees for miles, none of them didn’t seem right. Walking a little bit farther, he found the right one, and, with a single punch, it fell to the ground.
“Yeah, this should do for now,” he stated, walking over to the fallen tree and placing a hand on it.
He heard a surprising applause behind him and turned, finding that someone was now standing there. The black scouter flashed and finally white numbers appeared, stopping at the numbers above a billion.
“Hmm, you are the last person with the strongest power level, so.. are you the strongest fighter this planet has?”
“Yeah, I suppose I am. Why?”
The woman smiled. “Good. Now, you know something I want to know. A few months ago a girl named Vadolla passed through here. If I am correct she was somewhat stronger than you and had a power to move objects with the mind. I want to know where she is.”
“Sorry, but I don’t know.”
“Do not lie, it is inevitable. I know you know where she is.”
“I told you, I don’t know and even if I did I wouldn’t tell you.”
The woman held out her hand and Goku froze, unable to move. Something wrapped around his neck, but nothing was there, and he began to float above the ground.
“Look, do not test my patience, you will severely regret it.” He was thrown to the ground, the woman transporting and placed her foot on his neck before he got up. “Now tell me, where is she?!”
“Why.. do you want to know?”
“Did she jump to the second timeline? I cannot sense her presents here and if she is not in the third, she must be there.”
Hearing footsteps coming, she looked up slightly, seeing Gohan coming with a fish dragging behind him.
“Hey, dad, caught another fish-” Gohan said but cut his sentence short when he saw Goku pinned to the ground with a foot on his neck. “Hey, who are you?! Let my dad go right now!”
“Gohan, stay back!” Goku shouted.
“Ah, so you want me to let your daddy-waddy go, huh? Then inform him to tell me where my sister is, and I will.”
“Your sister?!” Goku questioned.
“That’s right. Now did she go to the second timeline or not?!”
“She might have. But like I said, I don’t know!”
“Alright, I’ll take your word for it.” She took her foot off his neck and back away. He stood up quickly and jumped back, standing in a fighters stance. “Sheesh, I don’t have time for this.” She held her arm out to the side and dropped it, a rip in the air appearing. It was like just a straight line, and then she placed both hands inside it, spreading it father apart. Stepping inside it, she disappeared, and the rip sealed up back to normal.
“What was that all about?” Gohan asked, walking over to his dad.
“Don’t know. But it can’t be anything good.”

“Hey, Trunks, look what I found! It’s a new history book from the library,” Vadolla said, running up to him and showing him the book.
“Hey cool. What volume is it?” he asked, stepping off a ladder for which he was standing on to put machinery, like kitchen tools etc., which was for sale on the shelf.
“Umm, 23 I think.”
“Cool. Did you find out if they had any new weaponry books?”
“Nah, they didn’t have any. But they did have some equation books.”
“Really. Probably the one’s I’ve already read, though. Oh well.”
After a few months of being in that timeline, Vadolla felt quite at home. She fit right in with everyone there and had many friends. But still Trunks was her best friend. Usually she’d help him with some of his inventions and run the shop. To her, life was the best it could be.
“So how about lunch?”
“Well I dunno, I have to start sorting the newly found books at the library,” she shrugged.
“Ah, can’t you get to that later? I’ll buy lunch.”
“Okay. I’m sort of hungry anyway.”
Turning, they walked outside the workshop and headed for the diner a few blocks away, the remains of destroyed buildings from the androids still scattered around. It was a blissful sunny day, the wind whispering quietly through the air. Half way there, Vadolla stopped and slowly turned around. Trunks soon turned and saw she had stopped walking.
“Somethin’ wrong?”
“Someone’s coming, I can sense it.”
The air swirled and then came to a dead silence. There was a minutes pause, and suddenly a line in the air appeared and opened into a portal, where someone came through. A blast shot out and hit Trunks, making him fly back. She looked back to see if he was okay, and turned back, the person standing on the street and the portal finally disappearing.
Vadolla looked at them with question and somewhat shock. “Sister Neobli?!”
“Little sister, I’ve found you, good. Now the plan can begin.”
“What plan?”
“The one to conquer the lands and expand the Lemiren empire once more. The armies have been found, it was long but it can now take place. Our dream will finally be at hand.” The scouter beeped again and the woman grinned. “And I see you’ve found the first prince. Well done.”
“What? What are you talking about conquering and expanding the empire?”
“Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten. The plan where we shall imprison the Sayajin royals and finally take back what was ours, including the Prophecy Stones.”
“What?!”
“You’ll soon understand, little sister. Now you must come, learn what has happened.” She held her hand high and a glowing circle formed beneath Vadolla’s feet. When Trunks could stand up, Vadolla floated a foot off the ground and a second later faded away, transported to somewhere else.
“Vadolla!” he shouted, and a blast came from the woman’s, known as Neobli, hand, fired at him. It hit and he flew back, crashing into a wall hard, almost being set unconscious.
The woman stepped towards him, a wide smirk across her face, and said, “This shall be no problem trapping you Sayajins.” She raised her hand and the same sort of portal that appeared under Vadolla’s feet formed under him, and he too was transported somewhere else. Neobli turned around and walked away.

***

Vadolla sat in a chair as her so-called sister, Neobli, paced back and forth and explained what she was planning. She remembered all this from her childhood, all this just an idea, but never thought that it could be plausible. It was some sort of space ship that they were in, a wide window looking out upon the earth from a control room. Guards stood close by to the door, their identity hidden beneath the dark shadows.
“So it is very simple,” Neobli concluded. “All that is to be done is capture all the Sayajin royals and the ruled planets will easily fall to us, the Prophecy Stones will be ours once again as soon as we torture them finding out where they are.”
“This is all just a lost cause, you know that, sister. The planet Vegeta was destroyed along time ago.”
“That’s where you’re wrong! It wasn’t Vegeta that was destroyed it was one of their colonies. Everyone thinks that because it was very similar, and since most of the warrior Sayajins were on that planet at the time, that is what Frieza destroyed. The planet still exists, a small unknown dot in the vastness of space.”
“But how could you know that?”
“Believe me, sister, you learn much after traveling through the universes most of your life. That is why I found you so easily, I have learned to travel through the timelines at will.”
“So what is it with this Prophecy Stone thing? Why are they so important?”
“Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten about that as well! Oh well, I’ll just explain it to you again. There are five Prophecy Stones, one for each of five races. There can be only one person from each race who can wear the stone, and whoever bares it will be almost immortal except for age, any wound they may have can and will be healed and their strength ten fold of the persons original power. I can’t believe that you actually forgot.”
“It has been many years since I’ve heard that story.”
“Yes, I suppose. Anyway, I’d like to show you now what army I’ve been talking about. Do you remember that story that mother told us long ago, where the Lemirens didn’t want to fight, so instead built mechanical beings of AI’s?”
“Yes.”
“Remember how they hid them away and didn’t use them but instead hired the Sayajins?”
Vadolla nodded.
Neobli snapped her fingers and one of the guards behind walked forward and stood to the side. They wore a full black armor, baggy pants to match, with one circular lens in place of an eye. “This is one of them. Intelligent cyborgs with an AI interface. They have the Lemiren power of telekinetic, and yet have an instant transmission mode as well. They look like people but don’t be fooled, all they are programmed for is to follow orders, and if they try to mutiny they will go offline automatically.”
“Is there any regular Lemirens left?”
“Yes, actually. The royal guards did survive since they were not on our home world at the time when it was destroyed. Of course, I still haven’t been able to find them, but these cyborgs will do.”
“When you find the royal Sayajins, and do conquer the planets, what then?”
“They will be powerless, and shall be free to go if they tell me where the Prophecy Stones are.” She turned towards the door. “Now excuse me I must be going. I have Sayajins to find. You may stay here and look at this... pathetic world.” Neobli passed the guards that were outside and walked down the hall, the guard that was in there returning outside where it once was, and the door shutting behind.
Vadolla stood up looking out at the earth below. She thought, considering about this plan. It had been an idea for a long time, but it wasn’t anything like Neobli was planning. Taking the kingdom of the Sayajins and the Prophecy Stone by force? She knew that there was something wrong, but also knew she could do nothing for now. Neobli was her older sister and much stronger as well, maybe even stronger than Clef was...
***

Entering the door to the brig, Neobli dismissed the guard there, and opened the cell door to where Trunks was being held. He was placed in chains from the start, and remained that way for a while.
“Alright, now I want answers, Sayajin prince. Who is the king of the Sayajins?”
“What makes you think I’m going to tell you?”
“One way or another I will find out, so save yourself the pain and torture and just tell me.”
“Never.”
She reached into the pocket in the cloak she was wearing and pulled out a hand bracelet, gold with a stone in the middle. She held her hand forward, and Trunks was frozen, something wrapping around his neck. Stepping forward, she placed her hand on his forehead, and an electric shock hit him. It was unbearable, electricity running through his mind and head, but a few seconds later she pulled her hand away and he fell to his knees.
“Hmm, that weakling? Well, I suppose that’s accurate, he is named after his home world after all. And to think, his planet, Vegeta, would be named after himself, or possibly his father maybe.” She laughed.
“How would you know about that?” Trunks questioned, looking up from the floor.
“Because, the Lemirens were clients, and the planet still exists too.”
“What? What do you mean?”
“That’s right, there’s still a Sayajin empire in the first timeline. Of course you wouldn’t know anything about that now would you? Oh well, too bad for you.” She turned and walked back out, closing the cell door behind her. The guard took back his position, Trunks wondering about what she had just said, and what was going to happen next.

Part Two
Training once more but this time in the desert, Vegeta test his strength against petrified, 20 ton boulders which stuck out from the ground. It was an easy challenge to him, but at least it was where he could use his power and not make anything explode causing a ruckus upon the people living near by in the city.
Grabbing another rock, he flinched his wrist and it shattered into pieces. He looked up to the sky for a moment, and looked back forwards, searching for another rock. He suddenly felt someone’s presents and jumped out of the way, a blast screeching passed and exploding in the distance.
“Ha, ha, ha! You’re smarter than you look, Vegeta!”
“You again!” Vegeta said, seeing Neobli walking towards him and stopping a few yards away. “What do you want?!”
“...Nothing but your empire!” she shouted, forming another blast and shooting it at him, he easily dodging it. But what he didn’t know was that was just a diversion, and Neobli transported behind him, kicking him in the back. He fell on one knee and disappeared away, reappearing a few yards away.
“What are you talking about?! First you want to know if I’m the strongest warrior on this planet, and now your saying you want an empire which doesn’t exist! You make no sense, woman!”
“I am correct in my sense, King Vegeta, it is you who doesn’t understand. You believe that your planet and empire were destroyed many years ago by someone named Frieza, but in fact that was not your home world, but just a colony.”
“What?!!”
She grinned. “That planet was similar to your home world, Planet Vegeta, but wasn’t. Your empire still exists, but only in secret. They do not know that you, however, still exist, so it should be easy to conquer your planet.”
“Then what do you want from me?”
She transported once more behind before he knew it and this time punched him in the head. He fell to the ground and she stepped on his back. “I want to know where the Prophecy Stones are.”
“What? I don’t know of any Prophecy Stone!”
She stepped harder and his back and kicked him in his side hard. “Don’t lie! You know where they are so where?!”
“I told you I don’t know!”
She kicked him again, even harder this time. “Where are they?!!”
“I don’t know what your talking about already!”
She kicked him again and again in the side and finally in the head, where he was set unconscious. With an angry look on her face, she cursed under her breath and stepped away. Raising her hand to the sky, a circle formed under him and he was transported away to the master ship. She turned, continuing to talk to herself. “Alright, two down, three more to go.”

Walking along the halls of the spaceship, Vadolla searched around for where Trunks might have been, still thinking about this plan as well. After the had stared out the control room window for fifteen minutes, she began walking around and was continuing to do so for hours now. She had no idea where she was going, the cyborgs running around with no expressions on their faces, but she knew eventually she would find the prison or brig.
Reaching a translucent door, she saw through it a few cells with a guard guarding one. The cell was the first of many, and was the only one with someone in it that she could see.
Stepping inside, she saw who was in the cell and ran to it.
“Hey, you, guard, can you please open this thing?”
The guard didn’t reply, only looked forwards at the entrance door.
She remembered what Neobli had said and repeated, “Guard, I order you to open this door!”
The guard looked towards her and bowed, saying, “Yes, your highness.” It turned, and opened the cell door, she stepped in, Trunks looking up at her with suspicious question in his eyes, from where he sat against the wall.
“All right, you’re probably wondering what’s going on, huh?” she said with a slight smile as the guard closed the door behind her.
“Yeah, got that right.”
“Okay,” She sat next to him on the floor and continued. “So let me start from the beginning, how ’bout? Well, that one woman that brought us here is my older sister from the third timeline.”
“Your sister?”
“Yes, she’s my older sister, Neobli.”
“What does she want?”
“She... wants to regain what the Lemiren empire lost. And by doing that she’s going to take over the kingdom of the Sayajins.”
“But the Sayajins don’t exist anymore except for the ones we know.”
“I know, that’s what I thought, but I guess the Planet Vegeta was never destroyed.”
“Wha?”
“I know it’s hard to believe but I guess it’s true, I mean it makes perfect sense. Frieza wanted to get rid of the threat, and since the warriors of the Planet were on a colony planet at the time, she destroyed that one and not Planet Vegeta.”
“But what does she want with us?”
“She plans to keep you here so she can do so. But also wants to question you about the Prophecy Stones.”
“But I have no idea what they are.”
“I know that. But I don’t think she does. I’m sorry, but I can’t say anything, she just wont listen, she never does, too blinded by her own arrogance.”
Trunks remained quiet for a time, thinking.
Vadolla stood again, continuing, “I’ll try to talk to her, but I still think she won’t listen.” Turning back, the guard open the cell door once more, she walking through it. She stepped aside and looked through the bars back at Trunks as the guard shut the door, who stared at the floor to the side. She turned back to the entrance door and began walk back to the control room.
***
Already capturing the rest of the royal family and putting them in their own brig cells, Neobli was in the control room listening to what Vadolla had to say about this whole thing.
“So you’re saying we should completely forget this plan? Are you insane?!”
“I just don’t think it’s a good idea, that’s all. I say we just forget it.”
“And another thing, you say that this Sayajin prince from the second timeline doesn’t know anything about the Prophecy Stones. What are you saying, every Sayajin should know about that!”
“Not him, he grew up in a different time and never knew of that.”
“Do you question what I say? Yes, he might have lived in another timeline but he still knew his father in another, so he should know where they are.”
“But-”
“Silence, sister, I grow tired of your insinuations. I will find the Prophecy Stones, and I will question all of them until I know. Understand?”
Vadolla didn’t reply, and just looked out the window for which she had been standing in front of the whole time.
“I know this may be hard to swallow, sister Vadolla, but, face reality, there is a war brewing, it has been for some time now, these days will be just the break point.” She turned and walked out the door. The cyborgs remained, however, guarding the door from the inside.
Vadolla continued to stare out at the earth, her throat beginning to tighten in a bit anger. It washed away, however, when she fell and sat on the floor, confusion and wondering what to do running through her mind. She understood but she just didn’t know why. Why did the Lemirens need an empire, why were the Prophecy Stones so important, why...
“Something is troubling you. What is it, highness?” a voice spoke behind her.
She turned her head and saw that it was one of the cyborgs that spoke. Its face expressionless, empty, like it wasn’t even there or alive, but somehow it knew that something was wrong.
“Is something wrong, highness?” it said again in its a dull tone.
She shook her head. “No, nothing’s wrong.”
“My program says by the expression on your face indicates that there is something troubling you, highness, and that is never wrong.”
A slight smile appeared on Vadolla’s face as she said, “Guess I can’t fool you then.”
It stepped forward and looked out the window. It studied the planet for a while, and said, “What is the matter, highness?”
“It’s complicated. You probably wouldn’t understand.”
“I am an artificial intelligence. I might be able to understand what you are felling at this time.”
“Well, it’s all about this plan. Lemirens weren’t like this, or so I was told long ago. They were peaceful people and didn’t like to fight like this. But what am I saying, they created you.”
“But, to be fully honest, they never used us either. They planned to only use us when needed.”
There was a few seconds pause, and Vadolla asked, “Not to be rude or anything, but do you have minds of your own, and not just like one mind or someone controlling you?”
“We are our own consciousness, singular people, as you would say. We may be machines, but we are living creatures too.” The cyborg paused for a second, and continued. “Highness, if I am allowed to speak, I would like to ask what this ‘rude’ means.”
Vadolla laughed, and the cyborg turned it’s head towards her, not understanding. “It means like being impolite or offensive to someone.”
The cyborg turned back to the window, the definition well put and it understood.
“So do you think it’s right, guard? The plan, ya know. In your own opinion.”
“We were programmed not to have an opinion on subjects. Too much of a hassle.”
“Well what do you think about it?”
“I, myself, do not know. Since I do not have an opinion I do not need to know.”
“Guard, am I allowed to leave this ship?”
“I do not believe so, no one is until consulting Highness Neobli.”
“Well why not?” she said in an angry tone and stood up.
“I do not know, your highness.”
“Then where is she? I want to talk to her.”
“She is interrogating the prisoners, highness.”
“What? Oh no.” She turned with a worried look on her face and ran out the door, the cyborg continuing to stare out the room window.

On the planet earth, Goku called a meeting at his house for the gang. He knew that Vegeta, Bulma, Trunks and Bra had been captured, for he couldn’t feel Vegeta’s or Trunks’ power level anymore, and no one was at home either.
“Man, I can’t believe that even Vegeta was captured. Makes ya wonder who could do this.”
“Yeah, who or what is this thing that’s been rounding up everyone from Capsule Corp., except for Bulma’s mom and dad?” Krillin asked.
“Don’t know, but it’s probably that one person who wanted to know where Vadolla was,” Goku stated.
“Who?” Yamcha questioned.
“Well someone came by here the other day wanting to know where Vadolla was. They clamed to be her sister.”

“Vadolla has a sister?”
“I guess so. But what she wants with Bulma, Vegeta, Trunks and Bra I still don’t get.”
“There’s gotta be some connection somewhere, you think,” Krillen stated.
“It can’t be anything to do with Capsule Corp. So what is it, I wonder.”
“Maybe it’s because Vegeta’s Sayajin,” Gohan suggested.
“But Bulma’s not so why would she be captured?” Goku stated.
“Just a guess.”
They all continued to talk, considering what this was all about, but if they only knew their thoughts were far from the truth.
Back on the spaceship however, Vadolla ran through the hallways to try to find the brig again. It all seemed the same; twisted halls, white bar lights lining them; it was hard to find your way around. But finally she found it again.
Stepping inside she saw a blast light up and fire. She saw her sister standing with a angry look on her face in the first cell, and someone leaning off the chains they were in.
“I’m not going to ask you again, where are the Stones?!”
“I... told you I...I don’t know.”
“Liar!” she shot another blast at him and he hit back against the wall, falling to where he was before.
“Neobli stop it! You’re going to kill him!”
Now noticing that Vadolla was there, Neobli turned with an annoyed look. “What are you doing here?! You’re not suppose to be.” She sighed. “I suppose you may be right. And what’s the use with a dead Sayajin.” She began to walk out, an angry look in her eyes, and finally left. Before she did though, she told something to the guard outside and then left.
When she had done so, Vadolla ran into the cell and quickly knelt on the floor beside Trunks. Slight smoke came from his shoulders from the blast, and he remained still, breathing but not moving.
“Trunks, please say something,” she said, lifting his head with her hand. He opened his eyes a bit, and she continue, “Trunks, are you alright? I’m so sorry about this. I knew she wouldn’t listen, she’s always been like that.”
“It’s okay, as long as you tried, right?” he said with a bit of a smile on his face.
Her face was a dull look, but her eyes were filled with sadness. She stood up and her face turned angry. “No, this is not okay, this is wrong! I can’t let this happen, not like this!” She grabbed the end of the chain connected to the wall which no one could blast or pull out, and waved her hand over it. It came undone and she did the same to the other. The power connected to the chains to keep them intact to the wrists turned off, and the chains fell to the ground instantly. She helped Trunks up and put an arm around her shoulder. “I’m getting you out of here.”
“What about your sister?”
“Forget about it. One thing, I grew up with morals and knowing and doing the right thing. I’ve stuck with it this long, and I’m not going to mess it up now.”
“Hey, wait, what about us?!” Trunks shouted through the bars.
“Trunks, I mean Big T, what are you doing here?”
“We were about to ask the same thing,” Bulma said.
“Wait, the royal family, I forgot. I’ll come back, with some help as well.” She and Trunks walked out into the hallway, where she set him against a wall. She shut her eyes for a minute, and held her hand out, but instead her hand seemed to disappear. She put it back to her side and the air moved like it was water, and a portal of light formed. Helping Trunks up again, they walked through the portal, and it closed behind them. With a watchful eye, however, the guard that couldn’t be seen because it was around the corner saw this and heard every word that was said before.
***
A bright light appeared out the window and the gang rushed outside. Seeing Trunks and Vadolla come through they went to help. Trunks was completely unconscious, and after setting him on the ground, Vadolla fell to her knees, grabbing her neck and gasping for air.
“What happened? Are you guys okay?” Gohan asked and they ran over to them.
“Yeah... we’re okay. Trunks needs help though, he was beaten up pretty bad.” Vadolla stated, slowly rising to her feet.
“What happened to you guys?” Yamcha asked as they helped Trunks up and over his shoulder.
“It’s kind of a long story.” She fell back on one knee and started to coughed madly.
“You need help too, it looks like. Lets get you guys inside and then you can tell us the whole story.”
Helping them into the house, they put Trunks in a chair in the living room and Vadolla sat in one of the kitchen chairs, where she was going to explain what as going on.
“So what’s this all about?” Krillin asked as they all sat down around the table.
She coughed again and took a deep breath, seeming like her throat was severely soar. “Sorry, I... I’m not prone to time travel while knowing where I’m going. It’s quite hard on the mind and takes the energy right out of me.”
“Time travel? But why?” Goku questioned.
“Well, all of this, Trunks being like that and me being here, is because of my sister.”
“Your sister?”
“So that one lady was telling the truth. What does she want?”
“Two things. One: the Sayajin empire.”
“What? But-”
“It doesn’t exist, right? Heh, that’s what everyone was lead to think, but that’s well far from the truth. Frieza destroyed a colony planet similar to that of Planet Vegeta because the king and most of his army were on that planet at the time. Since then the planet’s been living in secret, isolating themselves from anything else. It’s hard to believe, I know, but I guess it’s real.”
“And what’s the second thing?”
“You wouldn’t know of it. Only those who were told by family or friends who knew of it could know.”
“Well just tell us anyway.”
“Alright, it’s the Prophecy Stones.”
“The what?”
“See! I told you, you wouldn’t know. But anyway, the Prophecy Stones are something that’s very important to five different races. Whoever acquires it will have the power of their species and their own power will increase by ten fold.”
“Wow, hey, humans wouldn’t be one of those races would they?”
“Yamcha, shut up, this isn’t the time to be asking that!”
“Actually no, humans are not because their race consists of several different strains of races. I only know of two, and one of them is the Lemiren.”
“So your sister wants the Stone that fits the Lemirens. Why doesn’t she just get it?”
“Because, unfortunately, it and all the other Stones supposedly were lost a long time ago during the war. But she thinks that maybe the royals of the Sayajins may know, seeing how they were the ones who we were going to sell it to.”
“So that’s why Vegeta, Bulma, Trunks and Bra were captured. But they wouldn’t know anything about that.”
“You think she cares? Besides, she doesn’t know that. However, I think that one person might know.”
“Vegeta. He’s the only one who’s actually a full Sayajin.”
“Yes, but as you can see, she will hurt every one of them like she did Trunks until she finds the answers she needs.”
“Well, your her sister, can’t you do something?”
“I’ve tried to tell her but she just won’t listen. If she did I wouldn’t be here now, would I?” She stood up. “That’s why I have to go, I can’t stay here or she’ll find Trunks and claim you as accomplices and then there will be no chance. This way, she’ll have to come here and you can help the others.”
“Well she’s probably nothing we can’t handle. I felt her power level before, she’s not that strong.”
“No, that’s her given power, she can hide her true power. In truth she’s stronger than me, stronger than you, and possibly even stronger than Clef.”
“No way! You’re kidding, right?”
“I’m afraid I’m not. Anyway, I must be going. If my theory is correct she already knows I’m here.” She began to walk out, but stopped when Goku spoke.
“Hey, where will we be able to find you?”
She turned back and smiled. “Don’t worry, you’ll find me.” She walked out, and flew off.
“This is just bizarre. I don’t get it.”
“Well we have to do something to help. Eventually this is going to affect the earth no matter what we do, since this person’s now coming here.”
“Yeah, I guess you’re right. But what if Vadolla’s right, what if she is stronger than Clef was?”
“We’ll just have to see. For now we can only wait.”

Part Three
All was quiet on the little world for days, everything continuing as it always did. No one had seen or heard from Vadolla since that day, and they couldn’t sense her power anymore, so either she kept it severely low, or she, too, had been captured. Trunks had gotten better in that time and he spent his time training and sharpening his fighting skills like the rest of them. He, too, could only be patient and wait.
In a near by town, a little boy wandered around in the forest with his friends as they always did when it was nice out. Just passed that was the ocean shore. A game of tag was going on, and after running for minute or so, he reached the shore, but stopped in shock.
“Tag, you’re it!” one of his friends proclaimed as they pushed his shoulder from where he was hiding behind a rock, but didn’t notice until then what was in the water...or above it. The others caught up with them and saw it too. They shouted in fear and quickly ran back towards the town.
When they got back, the towns people heard them and stopped what they were doing to see. The ground started to shake beneath their feet and they heard a loud explosion which was carried for miles, including earshot of Goku’s house.
“What in the world..?!” Gohan exclaimed and the ground began to shake and slowly ceased.
“What was that all about?” Trunks questioned from where he and the others were outside, training before.
“Let’s go cheek it out,” Goku stated, and the others nodded.
They took off and headed for the town, landing just a few yards away to stay out of notice. They were about to ask what that was, but everyone there was looking in one direction to where it came from, and they guessed it was in that direction. Running that way, it only took a few minutes before they reached the shore, and why everyone in that town was silent.
It was like a liquid silver, shaped as a four headed snake with no eyes. It attached to the ocean and lifted 30 feet high, separate lines flying all around it and through it. They couldn’t take their eyes off from it for a time, the freakish sight too hard to believe to be real, and they heard it, or something, talk.
“You betray The Cause and our race, sister.”
“No, I did what I thought was right.”
They saw the other person who spoke. She sat on the shore, where she had been all that time she’d been missing. Vadolla stared at her hands and then crossed her arms as the creature continued.
“What you think is not important. All that is important is the Lemiren empire. Your ways have been and are foolish, thus you must suffer the consequences of being imprison for the time being. Do you accept?”
“...Yes.”
The floating lines around the creature went into it, and the beast formed monstrous arms. It reached out with one arm and the hand wrapped around her, making her stand. She shut her eyes, and it wrapped the metallic silver around her neck, legs and arms.
They felt like they should do something, but they felt the serpent’s power and if that thing was anything like they guessed, (it was liquid metal after all), it would’ve been very, VERY hard to beat it.
The creature began to pull her in and she was beginning to be swallowed in the center of it, the metal forming around her and pulling her farther in.
Trunks couldn’t just stand around anymore and watch this happen, and without thinking, he came out from behind the rocks they were hiding behind and shouted, “Wait, let her go!”
“Trunks, what are you doing, get back here!” Goku shouted after him but Trunks didn’t here him. He and Gohan ran after him before he did anything stupid.
“It’s me you want, so let her go!”
Vadolla somehow heard him, but didn’t know who spoke, and slowly opened her eyes again. When she saw him, she opened her eyes with a shock and yelled out before she was pulled completely in, “No! Stay bac-” But she disappeared, the monster pulled in by itself like a vacuum and it was gone.
A second after they heard a wild laugh and someone speak, like it was in their heads. “Stupid Sayajin. I could imprison you now... but what kind of a challenge would that be. I’ve decided that I’ll give you one chance to help her and the royals. You may come to my spaceship in four hours at this very spot. If you don’t show up I’ll just hunt after you again. You can bring others if you wish, it really doesn’t matter. So what do you say, Sayajin prince? Do you accept the duel?”
Trunks looked up into the air and said, “Yeah, I’ll fight you. But like you said, I can bring along others to help me fight as well.”
“Yes, very well. Now remember, four hours, no more, no less.” There was a twitch in their heads, the voice no longer there.
“You sure you know what you’re doing, Trunks?” Gohan asked as they walked up to him.
Still looking up to the sky, he replied. “Sort of. But we can’t just sit around like this and pretend like this isn’t happening. This Neobli wants to know of these Prophecy Stones, and she believes that my father and everyone else knows of this so much that she’s going to torture them worse than she did to me to get the truth. We have to help them.” He turned and began to walk back, along with the others soon after.
Back at Goku’s house, they decided to tell the others about this, and split up.

***

Five minutes until the fourth hour. They just got everyone together in time and got there just then. They waited on the beach for a sign of when they were to go... But what was it?
“I wonder what we’re up against, ya know. What if we don’t even fight this lady, like we fight her minions or something?” Yamcha questioned, skipping a stone across the water.
“Well we’re going to have to fight something. It really doesn’t matter to me.” Piccolo stated.
“Yeah, well, I’d still at least like to know what we’re up against.”
“Well, think of it this way, you’ll know soon enough.” Trunks said.
“Guys, hey, do you hear that?” Gohan asked.
They remained silent for a time, and began to here a crackling sound. It started to get louder and louder and all of the sudden...stop. The ground lit up beneath their feet, however, they fell through as quick as it appeared, and landed on a hard concrete floor.
Trunks and the others were getting up from the hard fall, but something smacked down into the floor in front of his face and he jumped back. He stood up and saw what the rest were already seeing.
Neobli laughed as the expressionless cyborg pulled the knife out of the floor with the rope attached to it. This one was different from the others, for it’s hair was a light blonde, instead of the causal brown. Also, it had a tank top armor which made her mechanical joints in her shoulders and wrists visible. Another cyborg stood by, different from the others as well because it wore a similar armor to that of a Sayajins, and had spikes on the shoulders. His hair was of a pearl white. Underneath both of their left eyes was a saber-tooth shaped tattoo.
“Heh heh, did I surprise you?”
“Neobli.”
“Hmm, so I see you brought other Sayajins as well.” she stated, referring to the scouter which read what they all were. “Well, as I’ve said, they may battle too. Oh, and I’ve decided that the royals may battle also.” She snapped her fingers and suddenly Vegeta, Bulma, Big T and Bra fell from the ceiling.
“Hey, are you guys okay?”
“Wha? Hey, what’re you doin’ here?” Big T asked, rubbing his head and standing up in confusion.
“Yeah, we’re okay. But what’s going on?!” Bulma exclaimed.
“Just you, Big T and Bra stay back, we’ll handle this.”
“Will you? I highly doubt it.” She stood from where she was sitting across the darkened room. “Every battle must have it’s prize so I suggest this: if you win, you are free to leave and I’ll never bother any of you again and leave the Sayajin empire to your hands. But, if I win, you all stay here and watch as I make waste to your world.”
“What?! Are you saying your going to try to conquer it?” Gohan questioned.
“No, I’m not going to conquer it,” she replied laughing. “I’m going to destroy it!”
They all had a shocked and angry expression on their faces, and prepared to fight, (this was of course including Vegeta.) Bulma, Big T, and Bra all backed away to the wall behind, and were just going to watch as this unfolded.
“What about Vadolla?” Trunks asked suddenly. “What’s going to happen to her?”
“Why do you care, you’re a Sayajin,” she said skeptically.
“Yeah, well I’ve learned to look passed that she’s a Lemiren. All that matters to me is who she is, not what race she is.”
“...Very strange. Not like a Sayajin at all. But anyway, she is to stay imprisoned until the Lemiren empire is finally claimed once again.”
“You said that all of us are free to leave if we beat you. She’s one of us, so she should be free to go too.”
“She does not have that option, unless you can get past the containment field.” She snapped her fingers again and a door lifted to the side. Place in a small crevasse behind that door was a containment pod, glowing a faded greenish blue and giving off a cold chill. Inside it was Vadolla, her eyes closed and her head slightly slouched. “The key word is if.” She sat back in her chair and clapped her hands, the around a round them lighting up, but not much though. All they could see was the metallic floor and ceiling and the shadow outline of the walls spread far apart.
“You shall face these elite guards in any form of combat you like; one-on-one or just free for all, but the guards will go one at a time. But chose wisely, for after you cannot take that decision back.”
“So you’re saying we have to fight one of these things all at once or one at a time,” Vegeta stated.
“That is correct. Now stop with the incessant chit-chat already, and let the battle begin.”
The woman cyborg stepped one step forwards, and did an instant transmission move, appearing behind Vegeta and kicking him in the back. He stumbled somewhat and warped away, the others jumping forwards and prepared to attack. Those who were Sayajins transformed into the highest level they could go, and the others waited for it to make a move.
It began to twirl the spike around to its side and rapidly threw it, aimed at Goku, Krillen, and Trunks. They ducked just in time, and it sliest across the wall like it was paper.
Piccolo transported to the above to the side of it and did a special beam cannon attack, the strongest it could be, might I add. It hit the cyborg square in the side of the face, an explosion of smoke covering the room of a slight second. When it settled, they thought that this one might have been defeated, but the cyborg still stood, part of the right side of its face now shown mechanical, and its eyes glaring with the cold stare at Piccolo. It lifted its hand in the air and Piccolo was frozen. It made a fist and something wrapped around his neck, getting tighter and tighter. The guard’s eyes glowed a beat gray, and it snapped it arm to its side, Piccolo slamming into the ground.
“Pathetic,” it said, and turned to the others.
“No way! This thing’s got psychic power too?!” Yamcha exclaimed.
“You don’t think the Lemirens would create an army without giving them part of their own traits, do you? Guard, continue.”
It did another instant transmission move and shoved an elbow into Yamcha’s face, making him fly back. That’s when the others came forward and started to attack all at once. But the cyborg was severely fast, and they couldn’t lay a hit. The guard kicked Goku in the stomach, punched Krillen, transported above Gohan and dropped on his head, broke Tien’s shoulder by blasting him, and chopped Vegeta in the back of his neck. Piccolo and Yamcha were just getting up, and the cyborg had only one more threat, Trunks. It was still fighting him, and finally had enough. It jumped to a beam in the ceiling, and charged up an attack that would surely finish him off. He didn’t know of this, and flew up after it, but the second he got in range it fired it.
Panicked, he did a reflect move and it bounced back at the cyborg, hitting it. It really didn’t affect it, for it wasn’t affected by its own attacks, but the recoil is what got it. It fell off the beam and crashed to the ground. It twitched and could barely stand. Trunks flew back to the ground, a slight pause after, and it fell back to the floor on its knees.
“Trunks! I thought I told you never to use that move ever again!” Vegeta yelled angrily.
“But I had no other choice-”
“That’s beside the point! That’s a coward’s attack, at least think of other attacks to use that wont dishonor yourself!”
“Silence fools! Useless waist off... Guard! Finish the job!” Neobli shouted.
The other cyborg stepped forward, its eyes a dark glow and dull. The others were now able to stand again and prepared to attack. But the thing was, it only stood there, waiting for them to attack it.
A stare down went on for a few minutes, and finally Vegeta came forwards and transported away, thinking he could trick it and reappear a split second before he attacked. But when he was still invisible to the eye, the cyborg grabbed his leg and twisted it, throwing him away and into a wall. It turned, and stood the way it was to begin with. All at once, they attacked the guard, but didn’t last every long. Every time they tried to attack, it would counter it, and throw them off, but it wasn’t enough to keep them from coming back. But while attack, Yamcha got his foot stuck accidentally in the shoulder hinge and ripped it out. Its left arm fell apart and it couldn’t control it anymore. Falling back in surprise, the cyborg stopped dodging their attacks and finally was hit, crashing into one of the support beams.
Neobli had an outraged look on her face, standing and gritting her teeth. But unexpectedly, she grinned and shrugged her shoulders. “What can I say, I underestimated you.”
“Alright, you lost. Now, keep your deal and we can leave.”
“Not so fast. You have one more challenge. I never said that the guards were the one’s you were suppose to fight really, that was just a warm up.”
“A... warm up?”
“Yes, to see what I was up against. The real duel is against me.”
“What?!”
“You heard me,” She held out her hand and her hair and cloak began to rise slowly, her eyes glowing an orange color. “So let the real battle begin.”
The ground rumbled, and a shock wave came from out of her hand, sending all of them flying back. She grabbed the sword that was attached to the chair behind her and walked forward towards them. Standing up, Goku saw he was coming and a second before transported away, when she swung the sword at him. She ignored where he had gone to and went after someone else. She shot a blast at Yamcha and dropkicked Krillen in the back, all the while laughing. She jumped up onto a beam and held the sword with both hands, the sword splitting into two. Landing back to the floor she went after Vegeta and Trunks twirling around easily and them barely able to dodge the attacks. Piccolo and Tien tried to attack, but she just countered every try, slicing Piccolo’s arm and kicking Tien in the torso. Goku did a Kaio-ken attack and punched Neobli right in her face, smashing into the wall and making a dent in the metal.
She stood and spit, whipping the blood under her jaw off. “Heh, pretty good, I’m impressed you can lay a finger on me. But I’m afraid that you have not even seen my true power yet.” She dropped the swords to the ground and shut her eyes. Her hair rose and faded in and out a pure white, and finally stayed that way. Her head rose up into the air, and her eyes opened, snapping her head back forward and yelling out a roar. They all froze, and began to hover in the air against their will. Something wrapped around their neck, and they felt themselves being pulled apart.
Unnoticed, and hand reached to the control panel next to the chair Neobli was sitting in before and pressed an entry code. The containment pod Vadolla was in began to shut down, and Vadolla’s fingers began to twitch. Her eyes began to open very slowly, and the pod’s shield broke, the glass around it starting to crack. It soon shattered and Vadolla stepped out.
Neobli saw this and her concentration broke. “What?! But how?!”
Vadolla didn’t hear her at the time being, and looked to see where she was, soon seeing the others. She turned her head and saw Neobli, her hand raised to the sky. She knew right then what had happened and became angry, the air swirling and the floor beneath her feet beginning to crack.
“Darn, and I was just starting to have fun too.” She waved her hand and the others fell to the ground. She turned towards Vadolla and continued. “Fine, I guess it will have to wait.”
“That’s enough, Neobli. Let them go now.”
“Why should I? They’re only a pain anyway,” She charged up a blast and shot it at Vadolla, making her skid back, but not fall. “And, sorry to say, you’re starting to become one yourself. You should’ve just stayed in that pod like a good little girl.”
“Not when my friends are in trouble.” She stood up. “Now I’m not going to say it again, let them go.”
Neobli had a smirk across her face. “Or what? Do you think your going to hurt me? Ha!”
“Maybe, but would you take that risk?”
“Heh, who do you think you are, sister? I’m twice as strong as you, four times as strong now, so you wouldn’t have a chance.”
“Don’t be so sure of yourself, Neobli, your arrogance can only bring pain.”
“I seriously doubt it.” She shot another blast, which Vadolla was able to block half. “But I’ll fight you, if you must be so persistent. Oh, and may I add if this is part of a plan to get them to escape, it’s stupid, there’s a field around this place that blocks their transmission move.”
“If I win they get to go, understand?”
“Whatever, sure. Let’s just get this over.”
Vadolla got in a fighter pose and prepared to fight. Soon after Neobli transported forward and threw a punch, Vadolla catching it with one hand. Neobli jumped back and up, Vadolla following. She kicked Vadolla across the face, and Vadolla returned a punch in the side of Neoblis head. The fight continued, one out matching the other and back again, but Neobli seemed to have the upper hand.
Neobli shot a blast at Vadolla, her having to block it. But suddenly something came up behind Vadolla and had her stuck. It was the snake beast from before.
“Why you...!”
“Don’t be mad, Vadolla, I’ve just grown severely board of this.” She flew back to the ground and turned back to the other. She held her hand toward them and they froze again. But this time, she shot a blast at Gohan, making him fall and skid across the floor, setting him unconscious.
“What are you doing?!”
“Target practice, Vadolla.” She shot another shot at Krillen and he did the same. Again she shot another at Goku.
“Stop it, Neobli!”
“Why? This is fun, it’s not as much as moving targets but what are you going to do?” She shot another at Piccolo.
“No, stop it! Don’t hurt them! I challenged you to a duel and I want to finish it!” The creature that was wrapped around her neck, and part of her head started to form away.
“I will, just as soon as finish what I’ve started.” Another blast was fired at Yamacha. She grinned and began to charge another blast, now aimed at Trunks.
Vadolla shut her eyes which were beginning to swell with tears. Her head began to pound, and she was becoming filled with rage. She was taught never to become so angry, but she just couldn’t take it anymore. Her friends were going to die if she didn’t do something, and she thought she couldn’t then.
The blast glowed brightly in Neobli’s hand, and she shot it. Vadolla screamed and the blast stopped, exploding in the air before it hit him. The monster melted to nothing and she fell to the floor. She grabbed her head in pain, her eyes now dripping with tears. Neobli was shocked by this and completely lost her concentration, the ones still caught in her mind power dropping to the ground as well.
Vadolla’s hair rose strand by strand and her skin turned pale. Scales began to cover her arms and around her neck, crawling up to the side her face and the edge of her eyes. And then a pair of wings grew from out of her back. They were as long as her, a bright pattern of diamond shapes decorating the edges of the inside. She stood with her eyes close, a bright, shining blue now surrounding her. Opening her eyes they saw that her eyes now didn’t have a pupil.
“No more. I won’t allow this to go on any further,” she stated, and disappeared, appearing again and throwing a punch right into Neobli’s face. She flew back into the chair and broke it apart.
Neobli stood again with an angry look on her face. She flew up into the air and charged an attack, one that was the strongest yet. A few second later she was finished, and threw it at Vadolla. She, however, just stood there. When it came two feet away, she held out her hand and the blast dissipated so that it shot around her. She transported in front of Neobli and grabbed her neck holding her up above the beam.
“You should’ve listen to me, sister. You may be Lemiren as well, but you are more Sayajin than that, so you cannot transform into anything but a half-ling.”
“Yes, but the question is would I want to transform into the Lemiren state?”
Vadolla’s eyes narrowed, and she threw Neobli to the floor, her face smashing into it. She stood again, but the second she did Vadolla kicked her in the stomach, and she flew back into a wall. Vadolla transported again and grabbed Neobli’s neck, holding her above the ground.
“You cannot win Neobli, you know it’s true. Now leave this place, and never come back to this, or the second timeline again, do you understand me?”
“I’m not weak, Vadolla, I’ll never give up until I have that Prophecy Stone.”
Vadolla punched Neobli in the stomach. “Wrong answer. Now I’ll give you one last chance, leave this and the second timeline alone and never come back.”
“What makes you think I’m going to do such a thing? You don’t scare me.”
She stepped back and let Neobli go. She lifted her head to the sky and shut her eyes, a bright glow appearing underneath Neobli’s feet. She laughed for a minute, thinking that that was all Vadolla could do, but suddenly she grabbed her head, and shouted in pain. The others didn’t understand, but inside Neobli’s head was voices, thousands and thousands of whispering voices. It stopped however, and Vadolla said, “Tell me, what would happen if that were permanently stuck in your head? Your sanity would break, wouldn’t it. Well if you don’t leave these two timelines and these people alone, it’s going to be that way.”
“You wouldn’t dare!”
“Would I?”
The voices started again and Neobli shouted, “Alright, I’ll leave, I’ll leave, just please, make it stop!”
Vadolla smiled slightly. “Very well. Now go!”
Neobli stood, and made the time traveling portal to her side. She gave a cold look and turned, walking through and disappearing for good.
“It was not the Lemirens psychic power that really bent the Sayajins fear, but was what they transformed into..” Vegeta stated suddenly, rising to his feet.
There was a moment of complete silence, the gang staring at Vadolla in amazement. Vadolla’s wings disappeared, and the scales on her neck, arms and face melted away, turning back to normal.
“But, with their anger there was a price to pay.”
“What was that price, Vegeta?” Gohan asked.
But as her eyes turned normal, she fell back and collapsed to the floor, her eyes shut.
“...Their life.”
Trunks’s eyes widen with shock and was frozen for a moment. He ran over to her and the others followed. He knelt next to her and checked her pulse. It was very faint, and he shook her head, trying to get her to wake up, but she didn’t.
“No.. no I’m not going to let her die! No!”
“Trunks there’s nothing we can do-”
“Yes there is, I’ll prove it to you!” He took her hand and place it on his forehead, and cold chill then running through his neck. The surrounding around him turned dark and he shut his eyes. He concentrated on what he saw before, when he’d been in Vadolla’s subconscious one time before during the time of Clef. He felt a cold wind against his face and opened them again.
He was now a black and white figure, his hair now a gray and his cloths a black. The flowers from before were now faded into ash, and the mountains in the distance just a shadow, faded into a silhouette image. On the ground a few feet away was Vadolla, lying the same way she was outside in the real.
He walked over to her and sat to her side, lifting her head. She opened her eyes a bit, and seeing him brought surprise to her face.
“Trunks... What are you doing here...?”
“Shh, save your strength.”
“Trunks, I’m sorry. For all of this.”
“No need to be. I thank you, I mean you saved all of us.” There was a minutes pause, and he continued. “Vadolla... please don’t die. You’re the very best friend I’ve ever had, and you mean much to me.”

Outside in the real world, the cyborgs slowly walked up to them. They held up a fist, but one of the cyborgs spoke, “Please, we do not want to fight or harm you, and we would never harm her highness, we are most loyal and would not think of it.” Some how they believed them, and turned back to Vadolla and Trunks. The woman cyborg placed a hand on Gohan’s shoulder and he looked up. “Please move,” it asked, and he moved over a few steps. It put its hand up to its neck, and looked at the other cyborg, who then nodded once. It dug its nails into its neck and went right into it. The gang stared up at it with question as it ripped part of it out, mechanical parts moving in its hand and falling still, the ones in its neck frying and then going still too. In its hand, however, was a dark blue stone which beat every few seconds with a lighter blue. It glowed spectacular and beautiful with light lines flowing all around it.
“Is that what I think it is?!” Krillen proclaimed.
“Her highness gave her life to help others, even those of the enemy race. Kindness is all that exists in her, and she is destined and chosen to wear the Prophecy Stone of the Lemiren race,” the other cyborg stated.
The cyborg knelt on the floor and lifted Vadolla’s left hand. The guard placed the stone in her hand and it began to fuse into the palm her hand.

Vadolla’s eyes opened wide and her hand lifted into the air, shinning gold. She was lifted into the air to stand, and Trunks stood up in surprise. The fields of ash around grew to the bright flowers before in a matter of seconds, and the mountains were painted back to the blue and white the once were. The gold in her hand spread and soon she was glowing the bright gold. With a bright flash, she turned back to normal and was set back to the ground. She stood, wide awake and alive. She looked at her left hand, which was still glowing a gold in the center, and shut her fingers around it. She looked over to Trunks and smiled. He smiled back, and when he blinked, he found his vision blurred, and finally he was back in the real world.
His head felt like his head was frozen and defrosting, but it really didn’t matter to him.
Vadolla sat up and looked at her left hand, now seeing the Prophecy Stone part way sticking out of her hand. She looked at the others, and then up at the cyborgs who stood to the side.
“You knew where the Prophecy Stone was all this time,” Vadolla stated with an angry tone.
“The Lemirens gave it to someone they could trust.”
“But didn’t Neobli ask you where it was?” Goku question.
“Our main order was to protect the stone from the hands of the wrong. Even if her highness ordered it, we would not tell her.”
“So why was I the right one?”
“You risked your life to save these people, and that is more than proof.”
“Well what’s going to happen to you now?”
“We will eventually run down, but until then we shall find a planet to live on, one that is...uninhabited. We do not know much, but like I’ve said before, we shall learn.” A slight twitch of a smile appeared on the cyborgs face and Vadolla smiled.
